Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park

This park is 342 acres of natural land, one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on Florida’s southwest coast. It is popular for its beautiful, superb surroundings and great opportunities for avid fishermen, who enjoy many types of fish in the area. The inland side of the island provides tidal creeks and mangrove swamps which serve as breeding areas and as a nursery for sport and commercial fish and shellfish. There is also one-mile nature trail available which is great for bird watching! Find out complete information on their website.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass

This park’s mile-long stretch of white sugar sand and crystal blue Gulf of Mexico water has been rated as one of the best beaches in the nation several times! This park is popular for sunbathing, shelling, wading in the water, paddle boarding, snorkeling and more! Kayakers can enjoy paddling through estuaries or out into the Gulf. Both saltwater and freshwater fishing are available. There is a hard bottom reef 80-100 feet from the shore which is great for scuba diving. Find out complete information on their website.
