A Florida native, Captain Connor Gear grew up navigating our local waterways, gaining a deep appreciation for all that Southwest Florida’s marine world has to offer. With over ten years of hands-on experience in the marine industry, Connor is known for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for all who visit.
He holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Master Captain’s License and has mastered the art of managing vessels, coordinating arrivals and departures at marinas and overseeing a wide range of marina maintenance and operational tasks.
As Dockmaster at Pelican Isle Yacht Club, Connor’s ultimate goal is to elevate the Member experience by fostering a serene yet professional waterfront lifestyle while promoting the unmatched atmosphere of the PIYC community. With a steadfast commitment to ensuring smooth sailing within our marina operations, we proudly welcome Captain Connor as our dockmaster.
When he is not on duty, you will likely find Connor out on the water or enjoying quality time with his friends and family.
