Beach Shuttle Service

The Pelican Shuttle

The Pelican Shuttle has resumed limited beach drop-off operations to Barefoot Beach.

Departure will be in the hour, departing from Slip S46. Registration is not required and this complimentary service is available to our Members and their registered Guests.

Beach chairs are available for Member and Guest use and may be obtained at the departure point. Bottled water is available for purchase onboard.

Please note, there are no public facilities within one mile in the Preserve. Beachgoers are encouraged to bring water and pack accordingly for their time at the beach.

Safety First

We are resuming beach drop-offs at Barefoot Beach after a hiatus due to the severe beach erosion following storms in recent years coupled with heavy activity in the limited landing area. The safety of our Members and their Guests is the first responsibility of our USCG certified Captains, and all operations will be conducted with this in mind.

Landing will be at the sole discretion of the Captain when the landing site is suitable for out vessel and we have a safe, unobstructed access point. High Risk landings will not be attempted and there may be times where our Captain cannot safely land and will return to the Club.

Hours of Operation will be schedules to avoid drop-offs and pick-ups during times of peak congestion, and every effort will be made to pick up Members at their requested time as beach conditions allow. The State of Florida, which operates Delnor-Wiggins State Park has not yet allowed us to resume beach operations.
