Doc Ford’s Lunch Cruise
March 27, 2012
Wayne and Deanna Foreman - Leaders

Cruise or drive to Doc Ford's, under the bridge at Fort Myers Beach.   For those unfamiliar with the novelist Randy Wayne White, Doc Ford is the hero in each of his stories.   Doc Ford is a marine biologist living in a stilt house on the bay side of Sanibel Island.  In his former life, Ford was a secret government operative.  Of course no hero can retire forever, so in each of the stories, Doc Ford gets called into action, using his special skills.   Ford mostly travels by boat and his boating territory will be familiar to all of you.  Stop in for a fun lunch and pick up one or more of these great books.

This is an easy small boat cruise, as you can travel via Back Bay all the way to the restaurant.  For larger boats and/or if the water is smooth, you can also take the Gulf route.

Number of Boats:  9

Number of People: 50

Non-boaters welcome
